Protecting Your Kids in Your Absence

Your kids are on a visit to grandma's, or at school, or with a babysitter, when a medical situation arises.  Of course you want to be there yourself, but if you're not, a simple document can help make sure that the person who is can authorize necessary and appropriate medical treatment.  This is what's called a medical consent authorization form.  It allows you to pick from a list of medical decisions that you want to allow the person you choose to consent to for your child.  If your kids spent significant amounts of time anywhere except home, this paperwork may be something you should consider.
